Refunds may occur for various reasons, including:
User-Initiated Refund If you request a refund through the merchant or payment platform, the funds will be returned to your PayMight account via the original payment method.
Merchant or Acquiring Bank Rejection Some merchants or their acquiring systems may reject the transaction after review due to card network, transaction type, or regional restrictions.
Bank Risk Control Interception If a transaction triggers PayMight’s or the bank’s internal risk control mechanisms, the transaction may be stopped before completion, and the system will automatically refund the amount.
Restricted Merchant Categories Due to regulatory or bank compliance policies, PayMight cards may not support certain industries, and transactions in these categories may be automatically canceled.
Unsettled Pre-Authorization For pre-authorization transactions (e.g., at hotels, gas stations, or car rentals), if the merchant does not complete the settlement within the specified period, the system will automatically release the reserved amount or process a refund. If you are unsure of the refund reason, please contact PayMight customer service. We will help verify the transaction status and provide guidance on next steps.
